Foraging Foods Empty Foraging Foods

Has anyone tried the foraging blends, like the one from National Geographic? I have seen it and was always interested, but it does have some peanuts and corn, as well as beans and sweet potatoes, which I’m not sure are cooked or not. However, I think the idea of the variety could possibly outweigh the smaller amounts of this. Thoughts?

Foraging Foods Empty Re: Foraging Foods

I actually used a guinea pig foraging mix for a while that my girls went nuts over, but of course the moment I decided I liked it I couldn't find it anymore! >:C

I use a seed mix for foraging activities with additions I make myself (seeds, pasta, kibbles, etc).
Honestly it's probably cheaper and better to sort of semi make your own from scratch. Peanuts and corn and sweet potato and etc aren't great, and for 8$ that bag is so small!

If you want a rundown of the things I use in my various foraging mixes, you can either prod me here or send a PM and I'll get back to you asap.
