Mouse trick video
Has anyone seen this? When I first got into mice I thought it was the coolest thing ever! Though, I never got my mice to do any of those . By the way, sorry if this is in the wrong category, I wasn't sure where to put it.

Re: Mouse trick video
I liked the part when the mouse walked through the fingers. So cute.
Kinda unrelated, but someone once linked me to a video about rats that were trained to find landmines... I think they used clicker training too. Interesting!

Re: Mouse trick video
The link isn't working for me but I believe I have watched it before (mouse through the fingers, "cooking", walking backwards etc) if it is that one then I find it fascinating that mice are so smart! I would love to train my mice when I get them soon. Of course a lot of work is needed to train to that extent but it looks worth it.

I was planning on training my mice before I got them, but eh. I'm just never that interested in trick-training animals. My girls don't even know their names.

Re: Mouse trick video
It's super awesome what mice can be taught to do, clever little things. But I can't imagine the time and effort it must take to achieve this The only thing my mice have learned is to come to the cage door if they hear some kind of packaging - treat time! :p

That is so cute! I've tought my gerbils some commands, such as "come to mommy" and "treat time" but nothing like that! I love the skateboard trick

Apopo HeroRats! They're trained to detect tuberculosis as well as landmines, my absolute favorite rodents I wish they were legal in North Americaabeona wrote:I liked the part when the mouse walked through the fingers. So cute.

Re: Mouse trick video
Aren't those rats called "Cambodian Pouch Rats"? I saw a short documentary on them recently. They were teaching that breed of rat to detect the landmines, they are a very large breed!

I've watched them online, it's amazing what they are trained to do. They do a lot of good. I think it would be cool to have a rattie that big
