I saw this and have heard conflicting stories about it. Is it safe for mice, or not?

I’ve heard pine is bad for mice, pine nuts are safe, and heard pine cones are both ok and bad.... what’s the word?

I simply wouldn't get it, it's not worth the risk. You don't want sap to get in a mouse's mouth, as it can be very sticky and extremely hard to get out. I'm not a master, but from what I heard it just isn't worth it due to the cons.
