can I use twine string Empty can I use twine string

I have a ladder that I'd like to use as bridge, my question is is it okay to use twine string to string it up? Or is that bad? My cage is a tank and my mesh tank lid has tiny holes.

Stick with twine made from hemp, jute, or sisal.

I think mine is sisal or possibly hemp
