Yesterday’s News as Mouse Bedding
I’ve seen a few people recommend Yesterdays News (or any paper based, non clumping, cat litter) as mouse bedding. Is it good with odor control (especially those with male mice)? How long does a bag last for you? Any other info I should know about it?

Re: Yesterday’s News as Mouse Bedding
I used Yesterday’s News for a bit; I couldn’t tell of anything super noticeable. I think it’s worth a shot to at least try it for yourself, but do keep in mind you may want a softer layer on top (such as a loose paper bedding) as the pellets can be pretty hard. I think the 13(?) pound bag lasted me about 3 cleanings in my 600sq in cage, but that was mixed with paper bedding, too.
