Sisal Mouse

Not sure if they're available in the U.S but I stumbled across this cat toy and thought it would make a great fake friend for a lonely mouse. It's made of sisal so should be safe. How cute are they?! Anyone got a lonely boy who'd like one of these? Maybe I'll get one for my two girls to complete their colony

Those are adorable! I didn't notice the ears the first time I looked, too cute. I wonder what could used as a base to make your own. Hmm.

maybe a toilet paper roll could be used as a base and kinda fold on end into a point! Then wrap with sisal and make cardboard ears. And black felt eye dots. Ta da.

I made one! Not sisal, but I can't remember what kind of twine I bought.

I used scaredy's TP tube suggestion and used fleece for the nose. The tube is cut it into a thinner/shorter tube, though. I forgot to glue the nose in and Yoshi's already torn it out.
The fake friend thread is an interesting idea. I'll have to see if I can make it again! lol

I've been meaning to try my own suggestion, I even have the rope and everything. But I've been busy sewing chinchilla cage fleece ramp covers, shelf covers and mouse hammocks

I saw a really cool cargo net climbging toy thing for mice/rats, and I thought it would make an excellent toy. But I was disappointed when I realised it was made out of cotton so I'm trying to figure out how to make a fleece cargo net... I'll get back to you if I have any success haha.
