Open to Deer Mice Empty Open to Deer Mice

Post by Lucille Tue 08 Sep 2020, 10:41 pm

Im in Portland, OR and have just raised two orphaned deer mice who are brother and sister. As time goes on, I may be open to taking in some more deer mice to be their house mates. If anyone is within a day or two drive of me and needs to find a permanent home for their rescued orphan deer mice after weaning, please contact me.

Thanks!

Deer mice are such sweet little creatures. The one I had temporarily after my cat caught it never tried to bite me unlike my trio of fancy mice! When it was old enough I let it go in a field with a million mouse trails in it.

I'm sure you already know this, but any deer mice brought to you should be quarantined and handled with great care to be sure they are not carrying the hantavirus.
