Over the weekend I was made aware of a sad situation.  There is an abandoned anole lizard that has been in the back room of a pet store in Livonia, Michigan for several months, as nobody is responding to the notice posted about it in the reptile section of the store.

Although I can't stand to hear about things like that, and would happily make the drive to retrieve the little liz if I could take care of it, my finances do not allow me to keep my house warm enough through the winter for pets of any kind (other than maybe a malamute or a snow leopard).

So if you are, or know of, a reptile person with room for a little scaly friend, and southeast Michigan is not too far to drive, I looked up the information about the store:
