DIY wire lid INSIDE rim. Help?!

Hi,
My tank is 31" x 11.5" (79cm x 30cm).
I have little platforms around the top edge so I want to make a wire lid that sits inside the rim on those platforms which I will clip down, so that they can have hammocks etc hanging from the wire.
Has anyone ever made one of these lids? Do you have any pics or advice?

Is there a reason why the standard mesh screen cover that sits on top of the talk won't work for you? It fits perfectly and you can hang all the stuff you want from it.

I see. Well they make screen covers for tanks that work great and they also make screen clips to keep them secure!
If you have a 20g tank, this is the one you want. Check the measurements listed in the Q&A section when you scroll down on the page to be sure, they are listed there.

If you bought your tank from a petstore like petco or petsmart i know they have standard lids made for the tanks as well. You'll just have to buy it separately
