Not sure if i should get my mouse a friend
I have one female mouse and the cage calculator say I could fit 1.56 mice it. I am not sure if I should go ahead and get my little Marion a friend? Please help.

I'd vote, do it. Mice are social and like friends. Do you have her in a tank or wire cage? If tank, how many gallons? If cage, how many levels? =)

It’s a one level wire cage

What kind of cage is it? How old is Marion? If you intend to keep mice for a while, it would be worth it to buy both a cage/tank that's appropriately sized and a friend (or two).

Okay. I do suggest a tank, too. A ten-gallon is best for no more than three mice, if you wanted to get her a friend or two (sorry, @Peachy, I realized I totally copied what you just said).
Edit:
Whoa, that means she's probably really small. If you can, I'd totally opt for a 10-gallon tank; you can find cheaper used ones, I'm sure. (I'm just giving you a heads-up; we wouldn't wanting her escaping and getting hurt).

Yeah she is very tiny. I put the cage in my spare bath tub just in case. I will look in to tanks.

Definitely get her a friend, yeah. Lone females are at risk of depression and can quite literally die of loneliness. You also wanna get her a bigger cage, preferably an aquarium with a metal screen top. I do recommend getting her two friends instead of one! Having two females together can lead to issues between them, but having three tends to help you avoid these problems.

Update: got another female mouse about the same age to live with my little Marion. Introductions went well and now they are sleeping together. Her name is Wilhelmina. I will post pics soon. Thank you everyone for your advice.

That's great! It was dangerous to skip quarantine, though.

Plus I forgot to say that I got got them from the same cage and there is a only three day difference from I got each one. So technically they are both in quarantine right now. Even if they are both found to be healthy.

Congrats on your new mouse! I can't wait for pictures.
I was thinking about quarantine, too. We'll have to remember to advise that in the future...
Just wanted to mention that there are a few benefits to quarantining besides treating obvious illnesses. Things like mites can be difficult to identify but spread easily. Pregnancy is common, and not always immediately apparent. Difficult intros can sometimes be caused by stressed out mice, and making sure your mouse is comfortable with her new environment and owner is an easy fix.
I'm glad things went well this time. If you'd like to read about quarantine for any future mice, here's some great info:

Re: Not sure if i should get my mouse a friend
I forgot that one of my professors actually raises mice and I asked him. He agrees the mice need to be quarantined. The information that is posted is pretty accurate. Yet, I was advised by him since the mice came from the same cage with less and a week difference that they still pretty much share the same germs. Now if you had a mouse for a while and a new mouse is introduced, quarantine should happen no matter what.
