Wow! Think it'd take forever to find Jack. How does he feel about the connector?

Re: Jack in the Box
He (and the 3 girls before him) loves it. They all instantly bomb through it as soon as we put it into the cage in the morning. After it has been in there a while, they go back and forth at their leisure, sometimes real fast sometimes they turn around in the last couple of inches and pop out the end where they just came from. Jack is above the right hand aquarium. It can take a while to locate him. But he tends to be in one of the houses or wheel running.

It is aluminum window screen. I bought 25 foot roll and used about half of it. I will post instructions soon under housing. It is easy to make but should be built right the first time for the safety of the mice.

Ok I’m excited to see it! How did he get to the big tank?

Re: Jack in the Box
In the beginning he went through the middle of the tube. After my girlfriends fear of escape was over come he was permitted access to the top of the tank and tube. Earlier she inadvertently misplace the cover slightly and one night I noticed him wandering on top of the tank. Then we arranged everything so there was at least 12 inches height to the ground so he would not try to jump, as mice are known not to jump down if high enough. One can't see it but the covers are notched 2 inches wide
where the tube goes in so he can climb up the outside.
