Anyone Using a Martin's Tank Topper?
I was thinking of buying Woodstock a tank topper from Martin's Cages with my Christmas tip money. But I just realized it has 1/2 inch bars and the housing sticky on this forum says bar spacing should be 1/4 to 3/8".
Is anyone using a Martin's tank topper? How is it working out?

@susb8383c I personally would be wary of 1/2" bars, but don't have any personal experience with the topper - mice are very good at squeezing in/out of small places if they want to.
Hopefully someone can give you a more direct answer, though!

Hiya! I no longer own mice, but my mice loved tank toppers. It's a bit more difficult to get to the bottom, but worth the extra hassle.
We used the Ware Manufacture one...bar-end to bar-end was about 3/8", never had an escapee even with my tiny girl. I'd be a bit hesitant to use something 1/2", but there are other toppers out there.

Re: Anyone Using a Martin's Tank Topper?
True. I looked at the the other toppers and actually have one from You and Me that was given to me. But I found I don't interact with him as much as I used to because of the tiny door at the top. Martin's appealed to me because its sooo big (was going to order the 2 story) and has lots of doors including a roof that totally flips up.
And occasionally I see a review on Amazon for the toppers sold in stores that says someone's pet escaped. The Ware topper has one review on Amazon that says her mouse's foot got caught where two walls meet and she came into the room just in time to stop him from trying to chew his foot off.
Was hoping to find someone who is actually using a Martin's for mice.
