Bleeding from tail base, what does it mean?
So, buddy has this red spot at the base of his tail, sometimes it's really red, and looks like its slowing bleeding, other times it seems he's healing. At first I figured it was his skin healing so that it can grow longer, but the shade of red worries me. Any type of clearification on what's goin on here would be super appreciated.

Is he being housed with other mice? It could be a bite wound. Males should be housed alone (or with females ONLY if he's neutered) as male mice will fight each other.
