2 connected 400 Sq in bin cages
Quick question. If i get 2 bins with 400 sq inches floorspace each. Would that mean Its good for 6 mice or still 3? What are your opinions on this?

Hello!
Sorry the reply didn't come earlier--this forum is rather inactive nowadays. If you have something slightly more urgent to ask, perhaps posting on the mouse subforum of Hamster Hideout could help, or if it's something medical you can contact your vet.
Anyways.
Personally, if you have the space for two separate bins, I'd just have two separate colonies. Occasionally dominant mice will prevent other mice from travelling from one bin to another by blocking the tube.

Yeah I figured something like that would be the problem. I Will just keep it as 2 seperate bins to keep it easy! Thank you!
