Hello! Hoping for advice
I am so grateful to the internet and that this forum is here! I had pet mice as a child and rats several years ago. Two weeks ago,I went to take a shower and something scurried across the floor....there were baby mice dropping out of the ceiling...they had just opened their eyes. I managed to save two of them and had planned on releasing them. I have not tried to tame them. But.....they are still sleeping on a heating pad..I am sure they no longer need it,but they like it!....it is still cold here so being outside would be a super stress for them....I know if I release them their chances of survival are slim....especially since they have been used to having room service for their meals! Since they have never known being wild,is it cruel to keep them? I am not sure of sexes but will separate them to be safe. Would like advice on housing and feeding....I am on a limited budget but want them to have an environment they will thrive in. Thank you!!!
