A better video of Maiers noise/sneeze
A better video. I wasn't sure whether this belonged here, in General Mouse Chat, or in General Mouse Health, so mods can feel free to move it to what they feel suits best. Anyway, here's a better video of her little noise. She was doing it every 2 seconds before I washed the wheel and cleaned out the litter corner, but as you can tell, slowed down as soon as I removed them from the tank for cleaning. EDIT:: May have to use headphones to hear the 'tft' over the cameras clicking. If it helps, it's as 0:03!
That clicking is the camera, not the mouse! The little 'tft' is her.

That is odd, why does your camera make those noises?

No idea - it's my moms. It only makes it while filming.

That is very strange, its kind of hard to hear the noise over it.

Yeah, I imagine you'd have to use some good headphones, or listen closely at 0:03.

When mice sneeze they often put their little hands up by their face. Like to rub their nose or something. Does she tend to do that when she makes that noise?

My mouse makes that same noise. I worried about it at first, because I used aspen when I first got him (not anymore), and I thought it was because of the aspen bedding. But he still does it. Honestly, I just think he gets kind of nervous and stressed. He does it whenever I pick him up and take him out of his cage and he did it the other day when I took one of his new favorite toys out. But if anyone knows for sure why he does this, it would be appreciated?

She doesn't always rub her face, only sometimes.
Oii, I'm not sure either, but I guess we shouldn't worry about it. Something Scaredy pointed out to me was that mice contract the lungs when they sneeze, which I've not noticed my girl doing, so we think it could just be normal vocalization - and they seem to do it most when they're not pleased, like with your Olimar and his toys being taken, and my girl with a smell she doesn't like. We can't know for sure, but, ah well.
