Dwarf rat!
Soooo I just learned about this adorable thing called a dwarf rat...
They're just like normal rats, but they have a dwarfism gene. They're about 1/3 the size of a normal rat.

OMG! I love rats so much and this is too adorable and cute. I just worry they come with all the health problems inherent in dwarfism.

I read a couple articles, and if they were accurate, then apparently dwarf rats don't have health problems. In fact, they supposedly are much less likely to get tumors, which is great!SarahAdams wrote:OMG! I love rats so much and this is too adorable and cute. Oh, that's good news. I had a full-sized Siamese rat once (rescued from becoming snake food) and a mini one would be awesome.
