It's HUGE! I could get in it, but I didn't assemble it full size - there are plenty of panels so you can customize it - and I will put wheels on the bottom. I'm going to put their old table-top playground in there, plus add a bunch more stuff. I really like this because the sides are nearly 18" high and are slick, so no climbing out (or falling off the table) and they can go in for a few hours at a time and get a change of scenery.

It's from Amazon. I looked at a ton of others but they all had mesh sides which are fine for guinea pigs or hedgehogs, but not mice or rats. I'm quite impressed with this. If you are in the US I'm sure it will cost a lot less.

Sadly, my cats and dogs succumbed to old age, so no need for tops to protect mice.

This is the preliminary setup, with their former tabletop playground made from cardboard boxes, some rope, and tunnels, wheel, etc. I intend to add more to it. This is so big - nearly 1200 sq. in - they were a little freaked at it, so for now I put them in for just short periods until they are more comfortable. Smile

This play area looks amazing! Can they really climb across the ropes?

I feel like this is going to be the size of the bottom floor in the cage I am making for my girlfriend, so she can get some mice. (She has been bugging me about them for months and I finally caved.) Now that I have been looking at all of the DIY stuff you can do I am the one going nuts on what to do for them. Laughing

Yes, they can run up and across ropes with no problem. One thing mine love - and I put two in each of their enclosures - are the bendy ropes made for birds. The best price for these is at Walmart.
