Hi everyone,

One of my mice had an inner ear infection and we took her to the vet, she was on 2 weeks of daily antibiotics and thankfully recovered and is well. However she is having trouble with chewing hard foods.

She still wants to eat and has the appetite, but she struggles with eating her mouse seed mix and pellets because they are hard. She tends to eat the oats because those are softer to chew. I've been giving her porridge and baby food to help since she doesn't have a strong bite. However I'm concerned she's not getting enough nutrition and I'm unsure about giving her so much wet food.

I will be contacting my vet to ask about this. I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem, and advice for me. Why she's unable to chew hard foods? And what I should give her to eat?
