Hi from Chicago!
I don't have any mice at the moment, but I'm really hoping to get some around Christmas. I'm a grad student in a demanding professional program, and I want to wait until I finish my current, very intense clinical placement, but I've already started making MES's!
I currently have a pet rabbit who's about five years old and is the love of my life. My primary reason for creating an account here is to make sure I keep both her and any potential mice healthy and safe. But that's a post for another forum! In any case, hello!

Hello! Welcome to the forum.
I believe there are a couple other members here who keep/have kept rabbits and mice. How fun!

Re: Hi from Chicago!
Hello! I visited Chicago a few months ago. My friends and I got to ride a yacht around Navy Pier! We also went to the Museum and Science and Industry, and they had a mouse exhibit! In one cage there was the biological mother and the surrogate mother, and another there was the cloned mouse, a little black buck. I am such a mouse nerd though that I really wanted to tell them everything they were doing wrong! They had lots of space, but cotton bedding, lab blocks, wire bar wheels, and only a couple things to do. But, they are lab mice, so maybe I'm just overreacting. Anyway, welcome to the forum! You should check that place out if you get a chance!

I was just there and I saw them! All the mice were burrowed deep in their nests, but I watched them closely for a long time anyway!
