Fudge..

Fml.
Fudge passed away yesterday in my hands </3 She was such friendly mouse. She was definitely the runt of her litter. Just a small feeder mouse from petco.. even with prescribed antibiotics her issues with breathing and sneezing would just come and go.
4 Deaths in a few months. Ugh, I hope it's not because i'm doing anything wrong? Luna, Sol and Marshmallow lived pretty full lives, but little Fudge only got to live half a year... she was just a happy little mouse who loved everyone! And worms!

I'm sorry to hear about little Fudge... it sounds like she was just an unhealthy little thing from the start. I lost a mouse at about 6 months, she got cancer, I was really upset about that one. Not fair at all. But it happens, sometimes they leave us far too soon. I lost some other young ones this year, too, but since they were rescues I can't be too sure of how old they actually were. Unfortunately, I think most of the pet shop mice are unhealthy to some degree. It infuriates me because it doesn't have to be that way. I lost a lot of mice this year, so I feel your pain. It's awful. Hang in there.

So sorry about Fudge -- it's never easy to lose a mouse and doubly hard when they're still young. At least she had a warm loving home with you during her short stay.
