Idea for plastic levels
So I had an idea for putting new levels in cages or tanks..( and then I read rodentsrock's awesome post about eco levels which I am so excited to look up!!) ...anyway my idea was chopping boards?? Obviously not the ones with a built in antibacterial agent as that might be harmful and they would have to be sturdy and checked regularly for any chewing but as my girls live in a cage I thought what if I used something to clamp the board onto the mesh from the outside and then something they could climb up to get onto it. Obviously it would have to be checked to be VERY secure but some of the plastic chopping boards aren't really heavy nor so flimsy that they couldn't take the weight of a few mice. Anyway just a thought..
