Re: Goodbye Rina
Such sad news; I'm so sorry, CallaLily. Rina was beautiful, and such a lucky girl to have you! I was always happy to hear about her, she was one of my favorites.
I hope you and your other girls are doing ok.

Oh no! I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I'm glad she got to live a long, happy life with you though

Re: Goodbye Rina
Thank you guys. It was hard finding her gone and I'll miss her, but I feel lucky to have had more time with her than I've previously had with my mice. Up until last night she was getting around, enjoying food, enjoying life, still taking the occasional stroll on the wheel.
Tilda seemed a little stressed last night when I removed Rina's body, but that may just be me projecting. They're not up this morning which is a little unusual but not unheard of. I don't think I've posted about it but Tilda has a tumor now. It's frustrating. Eulyn seems healthy still. I'm going to take a break from mice after Tilda and Eulyn.

My girls acted that way too when I found Clover passed away in the nest. They were still sleeping with her like they didn't understand, and when I took her out they were following my hand
I'm so sorry Tilda has a tumor! I really hope it progresses slowly and doesn't affect her.
I understand wanting to take a break, I felt that way about hamsters for a little while. I hope you feel better soon.
