Goodbye Rei

On early Sunday morning, one of my first two mice, Rei, passed away. I noticed on Friday and Saturday that she seemed incredibly weak, not even reacting to being picked up like she normally would, barely opening her eyes, and by Saturday, not even trying to eat or move. I was upset, but I understood that it was only a matter of time for her, and when I left home and returned at about 3 in the morning on Sunday, I saw that she was gone. She was always such a curious, explorative little girl, ready to go to new places and run all around them. It’s hard to think that she’s not here anymore, but she will not be forgotten, and she left behind two beautiful babies that are still healthy and strong all thanks to their mother. Rest In Peace, Rei, you will be dearly missed. Adopted May 31, 2019 - December 15, 2019.
