Ten new friends, born Monday.

My tan mouse finally popped, and ten new mice are in the world. 
She even put one in my hand. I wasn’t expecting that. I guess mice show off their babies too?
I don’t plan to facilitate any further breeding, because I don’t trust their genetic integrity and have no way to identify incestuous pairing.

Today the Tan Mouse decided to move her pups from the cotton ball stuffed annex of the enclosure I had prepared (she did put them there immediately), to the side I am most often, over picking the side having the door... At least I know I am not considered a threat, even in the face of our mass delta exceeding n orders of magnitude.

They're cute! I love brindles. They've grown on me, and blacks have always been a favorite. They're growing quickly! Do you know the genders yet?

I haven’t a ratio estimate of the *two* genders as of yet, nor have I endeavored to obtain the requisite data.
Females would, of course, be my preferred majority of the litter when considering the destructive potential of territorial/dominance brawls.
I hope this week they open their eyes.
