Blessed, Grace looks like a sweetie
Your cats are beautiful. What are their names?
I like your goldfish. Those plants look cool in there. I like that they are on those bases.

Grace is a sweetie! =D
Gwen (first one) and Arthur (orange kitten); they are two kittens we're caring for (originally strays, and we cared for momma for weeks until one day she disappeared ). I might call them our cats, though, lol!
Thanks! They're actually artificial plants, and so are the bases.

Re: Miscellaneous Picture Thread
So, my mouse Phoebe is turning into quite the little stinker! She has discovered ways to get out of her cage, and I happen to keep my potted plant, Frankie, (Don't judge, he looked like a Frankie) on the same wardrobe I keep her cage on. So, she has taken to digging up my poor plant, and making little "tunnels" in the potting soil. I mean it's really adorable to see her little head pop up with dirt all piled on top of it, but she can make quite a mess. And the funniest thing is, that after she's had her fun she goes right back into her cage. EVERY TIME! So I will walking and see these random piles of dirt all over my dresser. So I drew an ink picture of it. As messy as she can be, I love that little mouse to bits!
Here ya' go!

Thank you! It's twice that size, a 40 gallon breeder tankBlessed wrote:Nice pictures, AMO! I forget, is that a 20-gallon they're in?
Aww! She sounds adorable! Maybe you could give her a little pot full of sterilized potting soil in her cage? I bet she'd like that!jubilee wrote:So, my mouse Phoebe is turning into quite the little stinker! @jubilee, Phoebe is a cutie! Your story was really cute -- thanks for sharing!
Is Frankie okay? ( )
By the way, that's a really good picture you drew!

Re: Miscellaneous Picture Thread
@AnonymousMouseOwner, Yes! I would love to get her some potting soil. The next time I go to Home Depot I will definitely pick some up. Any recommendations on what would be safest?
@Blessed, Frankie lives! He is getting a little brown from his constant flights from the pot, but I think he'll pull through. Phoebe is very sweet and veeeery mischievous. It's amazing how far she has come from the timid little feeder mouse I first brought home. I'm glad you like the drawing!
@Rodents rock! Thank yoooou!

Re: Miscellaneous Picture Thread
Nothing wrong with naming your plants, sez me. I have two grapefruit trees, raised from seed -- their names are Anatoly and Dolph. I also have an almost vine-like avocado, raised from pit but never properly staked, named Cleopatra. She's a table-top jungle all by her ownself, so there are plastic monkeys in her planter.

Re: Miscellaneous Picture Thread
Not a picture, but I also name my plants.
I currently have a cactus named Bowie and a succulent named Space Cowboy. If you can't tell, Maurice and The Gangster Of Love have died since they were named.
I do have a new succulent though. He needs a name.

Re: Miscellaneous Picture Thread
Your flowers are so pretty! Everything dies that we try to plant, I guess because it gets really hot and we forget to water them, lol. Poor plants. One time though, I really devoted my time each day to watering this sunflower, and I grew it from a seed until it became really big and tall, and some little sunflower seeds came out of it, then it died The mice really liked the sunflower seeds though, they seemed to like them better than the ones from the store!
Oh and those flowers in the background of the photo, those are geraniums, those actually grow quite well for some reason, we've always been able to keep those alive. Geraniums, rosemary plants, and lettuce plants are what we have in our little garden. Edit: Oh yeah, and onions too, those are crazy plentiful in our garden, not sure why, lol.
