Pregnant or fat?

I got these mice from a friend and told me they are both female but I don’t know anything about sexing mice and one of them has gotten really fat around the stomach area bulging out and does look pregnant, the first picture is what I believe may be a male wnd the second picture the mouse I believe may be pregnant(or fat) any help with be appreciated, thanks so much

The second mouse is definitely a male - if you haven't already, you should separate them.
I can't say for sure whether she's pregnant as I've never had experience with pregnant mice myself, but I would bet that she is.
I'm sorry your friend mis-sexed them.
Hopefully I'm wrong and the girl isn't pregnant.

OK. Maybe I need a little break from work.
The mouse in the tails-up picture with a white question mark on its belly (and the dot from the question mark on it back, apparently) looks very male. There also appears to be a hematoma on the underside near the tail -- which could be indicative of nothing serious if it is resolving itself (diminishing in intensity and size), or could be indicative of something serious having happened externally or going on internally, regardless of whether or not it is resolving itself. Since I know nothing more about it than what I see in one photo, I cannot make further recommendation. Check with your veterinarian.
The little round one with the white belt that looks like the Northern Lights definitely looks female. Since she has been housed with a male, you should prepare yourself for a litter. Her shape is suggestive of approaching motherhood, but not conclusive. Even if you were tracking her weight, that would not be able to tell you for sure. It should become clear from her shape within a few days if you are about to be joined by a pile of tiny pink mousies, but there's really nothing more you can do right now than to read up on how to be a good human to a mama and her babies, and make appropriate preparations.
And to get used to spending more visit-and-play time with your little male mousie, since he will have to live separately.

I agree that the mouse you suspect is male is indeed male. And your girl is most likely pregnant.

Update: I’ve seperated them and she’s getting bigger everyday I do believe she is pregnant but we will have to wait and see. I’ll keep you posted

This is the babies 8 days old! There was 10 in the litter but they were so tiny I believe they are called “peanuts” so I didn’t expect them to survive as they were growing really slow compared to their brothers and sisters so it was pretty sad when I counted only 8. I never found the body’s so I’m guessing Mum took care of that. But the rest of them are doing extremely well and she is a great mum to them!
