Definitely looks female to me.

Also, please be careful not to actually hold your mice by their tails; if you need to lift them up that way, make sure you're supporting their bodies with your hand, so that at least their front two paws are supported by your hand. Holding them just by their tail can put stress on their spines.

thank you for the tip i wont do that again! i was wondering because my other female mice got pregnant and gave birth today.. i was wondering if her cagemate(this mice) couldve been a male...

It's possible that she got pregnant in the store before you brought her home, but it is also possible that I was wrong, so keep an eye out for a second opinion, maybe? I believe @Peachy may know more about sexing/breeding mice so she may be able to offer her opinion too!

I'm sure your mousies will thank you, they're much happier with their feet on the ground! Smile

I'd say female...your other girl probably got pregnant at the store.

I'm going to link you to our sexing page. The most accurate ways to tell if a mouse is male or female is to look for a vaginal orifice and/or nipples. Females have these and males don't. The page will show photos and go over all this. Will also be very helpful for sexing babies!
