are Quaker oats safe? Empty are Quaker oats safe?

Post by Tiffanieptrck1 Sat 12 Dec 2020, 12:44 am

My mom made oatmeal cookies and got the old fashioned Quaker oats (rolled) that come in a canister. We have alot left over and we do not eat it otherwise. I don't want it to go to waste so i was looking into giving some to the mice. However I am reading conflicting information online. So is it safe to give some to the mice as a treat? Do they need to be cooked first or can we give it to them straight from the box?

This is safe uncooked or cooked, and has often been a favorite for my mice!
