Rapid twitchies? Empty Rapid twitchies?

Post by Moose Sun 02 May 2021, 12:55 pm

Hello! I’ve noticed a new behavior in my boy today that I thought I’d ask if anybody else has noticed in their mice. After he’d curl up into my palm his little eye and ears would do a rapid twitching, he’d itch his ears and groom a bit, and then it would go away. I’d have to look really closely to notice it and I only noticed it twice but I’ve never seen him do it before! Thank you.

Is there perhaps a strong smell in the room? It might irritate his nose for a moment or something. That's all I can think of Confused

My boy Figgus gives some pretty good twitches when he's riled up and also when he has an itch and he jumps and scratches and twitches.
