Bug in mouse food???!! Empty Bug in mouse food???!!

I just refilled my mouse food jar and as i was about to feed my mice I noticed a black bug crawling around in the food!? Is it dangerous to the mice? Shall I throw the food away? Help!

dont panic, freeze the food so the bugs dont lay eggs and spread, it shouldnt harm them. if you notice theres bugs every where in the food then you should get a new bag/make more but if theres only one or two u should b fine !!

Fix the bug thing then place the food into sealable containers or bags. Then just open them as needed.

That will fix the bug issue. But not other mice or other pets tearing open the bags. For that a sealable tote is recommended.
