Best bedding for UK members? Empty Best bedding for UK members?

Post by lupus_corde Sun 17 Jul 2016, 2:32 pm

I'm trying to find a bedding that's cheap and safe. I was thinking of using aspen and carefresh ultra, would this be ok? I know a lot of people dislike aspen because of it's texture and allergies but doesn't it depend on the brand of aspen? And would mixing it together be better for their feet? Sorry for all the questions Laughing

I'd use only carefresh, I personally prefer beddings that are fluffier on their feetsies.
Other safe & cheap things that can be used as bedding is shredded paper (not sure if ink in the UK is toxic or not, so use plain just to be safe) and toilet paper!

I found some coloured tp at IKEA a few weeks ago, and though I don't have mice here in europe yet, I bought a lot just for this haha

I don't know how up to date this is, but I copied it over from TFM.  It does list some beddings.  Hope it helps.

Also, if anyone from the UK has any updates for it, please add. Thanks!

One that is not on the list, is fitch bedding. I haven't tried it myself, but I am thinking of trying it as I have heard really good things about it. It's similar to the white carefresh, but it is a lot cheaper. It's not sold in pet shops though - only online, including Amazon.

Good to know, I would love to just have just carefresh but I know it will add up over time, will try some Fitch if I can get it online Smile
