Today's the big day!

Selina's quarantine period is over, and she's still super healthy! So now it's time to introduce her to Sally and Sarah!
I have them in a thick cardboard box right now with some food and water, and my little sister is helping supervise them while I scrub down Sally and Sarah's cage and all their toys. So far things are going well; Sally and Selina are squabbling a bit, but it's nothing serious, and Sarah and Selina are getting along swimmingly. I'll be introducing their wheel soon, hopefully it keeps on going smoothly.

It's always so exciting to have the first meeting! I remember when I introduced Delilah to Gilly & Furgie....i was so nervous. My last intro had been so rough. Anyway, it was the most boring intro I've ever had. Not a peep out of any of them! No chasing, nothing! Mice are so funny.

Keeping my fingers crossed that all will continue to go well when they all go "home." I had one introduction, a few years back, where everything was fine in the neutral playpen but when they were all transferred back to the freshly-cleaned tank, the "old" girls were all "Oh! You're coming in here with us? Wait a minute, we have to think about this." By the end of the day, though, all were one big family of fussy sisters.

Alright, everybody's in the same cage now and things are going great! Sally continues to squabble with and chase Selina around the cage, but it doesn't seem to be getting too violent at all so I'm not particularly worried.

Oh that is great they are doing well together. Can we get some pics when you have a chance? Would love to see them all together in their cage.

I'll try to get some pics when I have the chance. But anyways, the squeaking and squabbling subsided in the early morning hours last night, and now everybody's sleeping in one big pile in the hammock. I'll have my sister keep an eye on them while I'm at work today just to make sure nothing suddenly goes south, but so far it looks like mission accomplished!
