So of course, no one around me bar my auntie share my enthusiasm for mice. So you guys get to all be flooded with photo's of my mice. I hardly ever had day's off so when I do I am bored before 8am and end up doing anything to not clean, that often means procrastinating by taking tons of photos.
This is Crackers, my first mouse and I am positive I will never come across one as awesome as her. It kills me that she isn't perfect in confo. Because if I could breed for personality alone I would never have to look further. Lets be honest though, even if she was a type I would consider breeding from. Not sure I could bring myself to do it, way too attached to this girl. When I am home she often has the run of the living room tables
DD is a keeper from an old litter. Unfortunately she is not growing out like I had hoped. So she too has the unfortunate fate of being a pampered pet.
DD and her Sister Pally, Pally was retained by my auntie and is growing out much nicer.
Lou - Lou is the latest addition and not sold on this whole photography thing yet ( as you can see ). Hopefully she will take over the plans I had DD granted a few generations behind. Has a tail set and ears that I have found hard to find around here.
Obviously not all of them, but I figured I wouldn't bombard you all at once.

Ahhh, so cute!!!! I just love Crackers - the markings on her face are just so cute!

Hehe thanks stephlisa, I spent a long time brainstorming the cutest name that would make my teenage students sigh in embarrassment if they ever came across my Instagram account.... Mission accomplished

The difference between a standard and texel from the same litter. The one on the right is Pally.
*edit, now that I am looking at a grossly over sized image of them. I am thinking the one on the left is a poor angora not standard. I know that litter had a few of them too ( huge litter ). In any case, still cute.

She is in solitary confinement and it is breaking my heart. Needless to say she doesn't spend much time in her tank xD Doesn't like exploring but happily sits on my stomach all night whilst I type away. A little lap mouse

Despite my best efforts she didn't gel with her tank mates. It was always going to be a bit touch and go my girls have such a settled group and some are a fair bit older. I wasn't however counting on her being the instigator....
She never settled, now I am just waiting on a breeder in the hopes of picking up a new similarly aged doe. Unfortunately we seem to be in a bit of a mice shortage around here xD Till then she lives in the crook of my elbow lol

There is a plan B of course. If nothing becomes available by sunday she will share a new home with DD. That was the one doe she seemed to tolerate.
