Ooh, fun! Disney songs are great
I just got back from the movie theater with my friends. They wanted to watch The Jungle Book, which wasn't exactly my first choice (I thought it would be stupid, to be honest), but I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't too bad at all!

Re: What are you doing today?
I slept all day! I had a little surgery on my wrist on Friday. I probably should have come home and rested afterward... but instead, my hubby and I went to a concert. For some reason, I was really tired after, so I've been sleeping all weekend. Since I got up late this afternoon, I played with some critters, stuffed my face full of strawberries, and had a nice salad from my garden. The critters always love fresh stuff from the garden, too. Then watched Game of Thrones. Now, I'm off to bed again. I'll prolly wake up 100 times per usual, so I may pop in to say hi at 4 in the morning

Online school! I'm thrilled for you, Gabbi!
Other than the excuse that it's convenient free daycare, I have never understood the tradition of sending children away for most of their waking hours. Instead of nurturing their natural talents to play and climb and run and yell and explore, most kids are forced to sit still and stay indoors when the sun is out. They can't do the most basic things like eat or use the toilet or breathe fresh air when they want to.

Re: What are you doing today?
Online classes always sounded great to me. Good luck getting everything done.
Today I stopped at a thrift store and found a 10 gallon with a lid for $3. When I got to the check out I learned that yellow tags were 70% off... so I got a 10 gallon with a lid for 90 cents. Yay. Then I repotted a bunch of plants and now I'm trying to finish reading Clara's War. WW2 stories have always been a favorite. It's definitely my mom's fault.

They change the discount colors every week, it was lucky! We've found lots of neat things there. And it's close enough to walk to. Yay.
Watching House tonight. Used to love this show. I had no idea it ended.

Hanging out with my new cat tonight! He's playing with me in my room. We'll probably watch a few cartoons, and then he'll go to bed so I can hang out with the girls today.

Re: What are you doing today?
Watching the second Maze Runner movie with my mom. We went swimming at a lake. I got a sunburn for the first time in like four years. Eek.
Got to go home and feed/water the mice because tomorrow we're leaving early fora road trip. It'll be the first time I've really left the state (except crossing the border into Nebraska for the zoo, lol), besides that one time I left the country. So excited!

Catching up on Pretty Little Liars. I didn't pay attention when it started a few months ago and am sooo lost. Had dinner at a truck stop and started reading False Memory on the ride home.
Which reminds me, this morning I read a news story about men in black that police were looking for... apparently they've been climbing out of ditches and standing in the highway after cars pass. Lol, spooky!

I'm rewatching some Avatar: The Last Airbender season two. Missing Lilith tonight, but I have some homemade hot cocoa to cheer me up.

Re: What are you doing today?
Sweltering!!! We're in a lovely stretch of a good 10+ days of temperatures well over 106 -- on Saturday it was 114, Sunday 119, yesterday 114, today a mere 109 with several upcoming days in the 111-114 range. In weather like this, even going out into the carport to get the newspaper and cleaning up dog poop out back drains you for the rest of the day. Yes, it's Arizona and yes, it's a dry heat but still!!!! I keep my house set at 81 and really don't want to see the electric bill for the A/C...June, July, August and September can total as much as the other 8 months combined ! And it's only the second day of summer -- phew!
