Tumor? Injury. Empty Tumor? Injury.

Hi! Mickey, my female mouse has a tumor or abscess on her femur. It is about the size of 2 kidney beans. Initially she was not coming out of her hut. Now she is more active but I never see her on the wheel. Would a tumor be more likely than an injury. I did not see any blood or indication that she had been fighting with Fluffy. Any ideas?

It's VERY possible that it's a tumor, unfortunately - mice (especially female mice) are very prone to them. Could you get a picture, though? It might help us if we can see it.
