Hello all! I’m new here to this forum but seems like such a fun community here so I’m glad to be here! I am here reaching out wondering why my male mouse keeps licking his glass water bottle in his cage? I did just get him recently but my previous mouse did not do that before or maybe it’s just a behavior my current one does because it’s a him quirk? I’m not too sure on the matter. If he is licking his water bottle is that a harmful thing for him? Is there anything I can do to prevent it if it is bad for him? Any information would be appreciated!

try giving him a small bowl of water

my male mouse will not use a water bottle, he will only drink from a bowl
