Christmas toys?
Does anyone know where I can find cute hamster/mouse Christmas toys? The UK has all of these ADORABLE toys, and I barely see any in the US. If anyone knows where I can get some, that'd be great
Re: Christmas toys?
I'm sure that if you popped into some thrift stores you might find porcelain Christmas houses/deco! If you gave them a good wash, they could serve as great hides and play things for your mice. You can also find a lot of Christmas themed things on ebay and amazon! Usually they don't cost much.

I second the thrift store idea. I find a lot of cute holiday ceramic hides (candle holders) and dishes at the ones near me. I also like to check at Dollar Tree for cute mouse-safe holiday things.

This place might also have some holiday things or items to make holiday things.
*Edit* Not all of it is mouse safe because they are geared toward birds and sugar gliders so use your judgment as to what will work for your individual mice.

Re: Christmas toys?
The dollar store can be a good place to find christmas items, such as ceramic tea-light holders, which make good hides and bowls.
And you could also consider getting some festive fleece to make hammocks with!

Yeah! I like the candy cane one best
There's also these treats for wild birds, but I'm not sure if the "Gelatin" ingredient is safe: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=9089+11801+19441&pcatid=19441

Re: Christmas toys?
Ooh. CallaLily once shared a tutorial to make similar treats that used gelatin. My mice had lots of fun with it!

Yes, Norman's Mom said it would be fine as an occasional treat.

Those pinatas are soooooo cute! Those smaller ones, like the Santa Bear, indicate that they can be filled with treats you have on hand so you can be sure the contents are safe. Imogene doesn't seem to be too excited over chewable things that hang otherwise I'd order one for Miss Ham...she does love to eat!
