flying saucer wheel size
Someone bought me a 5-inch flying saucer wheel. I can't tell if it's too small for my mice to run on or if they just don't know how to use it. So does anyone successfully use this size wheel for their mice? (PS. This isn't their main wheel. They have an 8.5-inch comfort wheel which they use all the time.)

The 5 inch one is pretty small. The next size up (I believe it's 7 inches) flying saucer is a more appropriate size.

I think it would be fine if it isn't the main wheel, though, I may be wrong. It is a bit small if you were to use it as the only wheel in the cage.

It's really too small. They might run on it but there isn't enough surface area for them to have good body alignment on it. It's like wearing shoes that are too small. Technically you can do it, but it doesn't feel good and will harm you in the long run. I wouldn't recommend using it.

Yeah, I had a feeling it was too small. I'll take it out of their tank right now. Thanks for the help
