Walnut Shells? Empty Walnut Shells?

Wasn't really sure which section to put this question in...but is it ok to use walnut shells in your mouse's cage? Maybe in a DIY toy or something like that.

For a diy toy, yes. I've seen a few people make neat little puzzle foraging toys out of them. Mice would probably love it and it would be safe to chew.
