Re: Himi's babies
Ooh! An all-Himalayan litter would be SO awesome!! I would love a Himalayan mouse. Do angora Himalayas exist? Because if so, I might just die if I saw one, I'd want it so badly.

Re: Himi's babies
Yes! They're growing and aren't skinny. Plump little things! The boys seem to be bigger sadly (I feel bad for the girls). Momma feeds them, and they would not all get milk strips each time, but i'm imagining that those who missed out are getting fed in the next round (hopefully). I can't see milk stripes anymore because of fur though.... I'll know if they're behind in development in a few days... Usagi's and Daisy's litter opened eyes around day 12... and for the babies, it's day 10 or 11 right now. So if they don't open they're eyes soon, they may be behind...MouseLover wrote:Aaw so many! Lol I may have made that term up—just, do longhaired Himalayan mice exist? Lol

I've heard that boys can be greedy milk-hoggers! Naughty boys.

Re: Himi's babies
The babies are darling. Wow, I never knew a mouse could have that many babies! I was shocked. The only pets I ever bred were gerbils, years ago. My mama gerbil, Tasha, would only care for 3 babies, no matter how many she had. But I don't remember any of her litters being bigger than 5 pups. I guess that is just nature, Tasha knew she could only handle 3. Isn't nature amazing. Best to you and all the babies! Looking forward to seeing more photos as they grow.
