Arwen the Boodog is gorgeous and looks like she just loves life.

To me, Blaze doesn't look rottie at all - hound or something, but he doesn't have a Dottie build. Neither does Freya really. They look like awesome mixes that became awesome dogs Smile

And I can't get over Rosie's sleeping face!

I thought I would post a picture of my neighbors dog who I babysit sometimes. He's more like a cat. I don't think I've ever heard him bark, all he wants to do is snuggle, and he doesn't really like to go for walks. He's a funny little thing. And cute, too. His name is Louie. I gave him the awesome Christmas jacket coat he's wearing.

His tongue sticks out because he's missing some teeth. He has the silliest face and he's not very bright either! But he's a sweet as they come.

Your puppy was super cute, Artist! This is my grandma's dachshund playing with my brother at the dog park. It's not the best picture of him, they were wrestling, but I lovelovelove this picture of her. Heart

She's scared of cameras so we don't have many. lol

Not to me either, especially Freya. That's just what we were told by the shelter and the vet. Ah well. They can only guess and it's not really important.

One of my dogs rather likes the camera - seems like he vogues for me, even! The others are more reluctant to be photographed though...I tend to just hope for the best, as if I use a treat, I find that they'll simply jump around more than before.

The signal I used to teach Lilly "sit" happens to be perfect for holding a treat above her nose for nice pictures. Laughing

If you look at Blaze's pic, you can tell that he's looking up at something. A ball. He knows he's supposed to sit and wait for us to throw it. Though sometimes it's hard to remember when he's super excited. Treats work the same way and motivate Freya more than a ball. The little two aren't very hard to get pictures of. They're less active.

Aw, Louie is so cute too! That tongue is just adorable.
We would seriously have people stop their cars to look at Clover when we took her for a walk. I mean, it's not every day you see a puppy who is only a foot long, I guess! The (vaguely annoying) most common line was, "Is that a dog or a rat!"

At least dogs are easier to get good photos of than mice, even if they have to be tempted by something!

When she was a puppy, we got asked if she was a dog or a rat, too. What a strange question! One time someone followed up with, "What are you going to do with it?" Um. Don't Know

People are so rude. They obviously think they're being really clever or funny asking that question, as if they're the first ever person to make that joke.

My chihuahua, Gino is about 10 pounds (He's very muscular, seeing as he runs so often with the neighbor dog.) and I still have people ask if he's a dog or a rat. My other dog is kind of chubby and short, and people tend to call her a torpedo...the neighbor gives her far too many treats. I really need to diet her more.
It is distinctly annoying to have people ask if your dog is a rat. Perhaps the most agitating question I receive regularly.

One of my sisters always refers to any little dog as that "rat dog." To be fair she's had some bad experiences with attacking Chihuahuas.
