I am getting an Egyptian spiny mouse from an animal sanctuary I volunteer at as he is being bullied. Yup, any unscented paper bedding is safe to use! Shooting for 6” is ideal so he can stay warm Smile

This is paper and polyester is that still ok?

Sorry, didn’t see the polyester part! Don’t see that too often.

I don’t think I would recommend it just because, depending on how this is composed, if the mouse ingests it, it can cause blockages. At least with hammocks and other fabric toys you can check for chewing; with this bedding I don’t think you could be so sure.

Seeing as you’re in the UK, would something like Kaytee Clean and Cozy or Carefresh work for you? These are both 100% paper and used by many mouse owners with great results Smile

Thanks, I have bought him some carefresh now hopefully he will like it as he is used to sawdust but that isn't very good for his injury
