I have different names on different forums (CallaLily knows me as the Moderator "Crabinski" on HCA, the hermit crab forum we belong to). When I signed up on TFM way back when and had to come up with a user name, I simply chose where I live, Mesa, and the subject matter, mouse, so there you have it!

Yep, I live in the third largest city in Arizona, Mesa, just outside of Phoenix. Even though I've been in Arizona for 31 years, I'm still, in many ways, a New Yorker...and still sound like one Laughing

AppleCheeks is.. was my mousery name.
To explain it rather simply, I breed Scottish Highland Cattle and at the time I was thinking of a mousery name, we had a calf born who had very prominent cheek bones - like she had apples in her cheeks.

Cute! What fun stories.
Mine goes back a few years to when I was making an account for an online game, Wolfquest. Basically you're a wild and you hunt and stuff. Anyway, back then wolves were my favorite animal, and I had no idea what to make my username. So I started typing in the generic stuff, like WolfLover, which of course was taken. Everything I tried was taken. So I though, why don't I relate my username to art somehow, since I love art? So kaboom, artistwolf. It would have made more sense to be wolfartist, but for some reason that never came to me until 5 minutes later Laughing

Anyway, I really liked the sound of Artistwolf, so now I use it for almost anything. I like how it flows together as one word, so that's why I never put a space or capitalize it like ArtistWolf. Breaks it up too much, IMO.
