Wheel tail? Empty Wheel tail?

I rescued two mice today, they were in horrible conditions, the wheel they had can't be bigger than 5 inches from the looks of it as my smaller than average hands are bigger than it. I do have a concern though, one of the two girls appears to have wheel tail I'm not sure if mice can get it like rats can but it's what it looks like, it's pretty much always at least straight up or curled over her head she can still lower it from the looks of it but she's raising it enough for me to be concerned for her. What should I do about this? Does anyone else have a similar experience? Can I get it fixed by a vet or do a at home treatment for her possibly?

I wouldn't worry about it, just get them a proper sized wheel, the condition may even be genetic and not related to wheels at all...but to be on the safe side, right.
