Re: Housing Pictures
Scout's set up looks fun! I like all your hanging stuff. I've been trying to incorporate more hanging stuff in Mickey's tank. I've had the hanging bird toy ladder/swing thing for awhile and this time I added a hanging tube.

Thank you! Maybe you could add some popsicle stick bridges and DIY hammocks to yours, just an idea!Rodents rock! wrote:Scout's set up looks fun! I like all your hanging stuff. Cute set up, the little mushroom house is adorableAnonymousMouseOwner wrote:Aww, poor Cordelia, It's nice that you make everything easy for her to use. Very nice setupMesaMouse wrote:Since Cordelia, at almost 27 months old, prefers to have everything on the "ground floor", I took her unused saucer out and crammed in a lot of fun stuff for her yesterday.

Re: Housing Pictures
So I finally moved my girls over to a bigger tank. I think I mentioned here that I was planning on fixing my 36x18x18 inch exo terra tank for the mice but that kept being put off - it needs a replacement bottom glass and a new lid. So instead I swapped them out with my leo. All that space was wasted on him so I know the girls will enjoy it more. So fingers crossed it all works out. If not I can always swap them back.
This tank is a 40 gallon breeder, 36x18x16 inches.
I've been wanting to see if they'd enjoy a digging pit but it always felt too crowded in the 20 g long for that. I sprinkled some treats in there. They can get up to the hammocks from the little wooden ladder and on top of the castle. I'm not sure if they'll climb the hanging braided fleece but that could be another way up. I added shredded newspaper after the pics too, though I'm sure they'll have pulled it all into their nest by tonight.

You guys are all making me jealous as my hamsters would never allow for these types of setups.

Re: Housing Pictures
Here's some pictures of Olimar's cage for this week. I also decorated the outside of it for fall, and tried to go with a fall theme on the inside, but it didn't work out that well.
Hanging above his cage is a banner that I made. I think it's cute:) Also, I bought some leaves and window clings for the outside. I'm so excited for fall and Thanksgiving (don't even get me started on Christmas! )
But anyway, the only really fall toys are his teeter-totter and his tree trunk hide

The banner is cute, and I love using window clings. Love the scarecrow! You're making me want to pull my decorations out. lol
I bet you could find some cute fall/Thanksgiving hides and dishes at thrift stores.
