While I am going to change to vitakraft vitasmart parakeet food as soon as possible, I remembered that my mother keeps parakeets and decided to look at what she's feeding them so I can try it out sooner.

Not sure about the ingredients, but the crude protein is a little too low. Aim for 12-14%.

Ah well. I'll set out to get vitakraft vitasmart. Anyone who feeds that know where you purchase it at?

Ingredients are safe enough but not much variety. As Cinna said, it's low on crude protein too.

I'm pretty sure you can find vitakraft vitasmart at Petsmart.
