Mice wont leave tubing of their cage
ive had my current pair of mice for around 4 months now and since ive had they have both enjoyed being in the tubing, however recently ive noticed apart from eating, drinking and occasionally playing on the wheel they never really leave the tubing, i try to rearrange their cage regularly so they’ll want to be out of the tubing but it doesn’t seem to work, why are they doing this and what can i do to get them to explore more?

Re: Mice wont leave tubing of their cage
Maybe there is too much open space and they feel threatened. Mice really love having their cage stuffed. Also consider if there is a lot of air movement or loud noises around them that may make them want to hide.
