Sometimes I think the world is trying to play a cruel trick on me.
The day after I made that last post, the person who had "Pepee" messaged and said "I've changed my mind, I'm keeping her". Are you kidding me..

Needless to say, I gave them a reality check - this "annoying" bird is just going to get more and more "annoying" as her bond grows with the husband/the family. This is a bird who could live for 25 years.

When the time came to meet at the arranged pick up spot, I had a sinking feeling in my stomach. I was half waiting for them to not show up and blow me off.. I sat there waiting for an extra half an hour after the meet time in hopes they'd show.
Somehow, they got the meet spot mixed up and FINALLY showed up.

What a relief!

I'm her 5th home in the last 2-3 months and here's hoping I am her final home.
