Fur loss, constant itching. Empty Fur loss, constant itching.

Hello, I have an 18 month old fancy mouse, she started to lose the fur on her neck and was itching the area constantly. Took her to the vet and they couldn't find anything wrong with her, we have treated her for mites and was given a steroid cream.
She is now losing fur on her front legs and back due to itching and biting herself. There is scabs on her skin where she's bitten herself and broken the skin and is 'squeaking' alot when she doesn't normally so guessing she's in some pain.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? Is there anything we can try to make her feel better?

What kind of bedding do you use?
